A versatile paste lubricant for drilling and mining operations, including core recovery applications.
Tube Lube is an amber, opaque paste designed for use in mining and drilling operations. Apply it inside the bottom of the inner tube or to core lifter components to support core recovery. It can also be used to clean drill rig components when mixed with water.
Lubricant Lube Tube is suitable for fresh water, salt water, and brine-based fluids, easy to mix in low-shear conditions, and compatible with environmentally conscious drilling programmes.
It also helps control fluid loss and inhibit swelling shale.
Typical Applications
Mineral exploration, diamond drilling, mining and water well drilling; core recovery and drill rig component cleaning.
User Guidance
For core recovery, smear Tube Lube inside the bottom of the inner tube before inserting it into the drill rods; it may also be applied to core lifter parts. For component cleaning, the source recommends 5 litres per cubic metre of water. Confirm suitability and handling requirements against the current product technical data sheet.
